01 / Project brief

What the project required.

The challenge

The empty roof offered views and floor area but no shelter, lighting structure, audience organization, or nighttime identity. Every event element also had to work within an active parking structure.

The approach

JAZ organized the project around the temporary overhead structure first, then used lighting, furniture, audience zones, and technical placement to create a cohesive environment beneath it.

Original scope

Outdoor event layout, overhead structure, lighting, audience zones, power, and technical production coordination

02 / Execution

How JAZ solved it.

  1. 01

Mapped the rooftop footprint and event circulation.

  2. 02

Installed a large covered structural grid across the primary event zone.

  3. 03

Integrated architectural and event lighting for nighttime use.

  4. 04

Coordinated audience, lounge, and technical areas within the structure.
